Handball

Handball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of seven players each, attempt to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court, with a goal at each end, and the primary objective is to outscore the opponent. Players can use any part of their body above the knee to handle the ball, but they must dribble when running with it. The game combines elements of soccer, basketball, and water polo, requiring both offensive and defensive strategies. Handball is played in both indoor and outdoor formats, with indoor handball being more common in competitive play. It is recognized as an Olympic sport and has a strong following in Europe and other regions, where various club and national competitions take place. The sport emphasizes teamwork, speed, agility, and coordination.
