Handball

Handball is a team sport played between two teams of seven players each, including a goalkeeper. The objective of the game is to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court, typically indoors, with a goal at each end. Players use their hands to pass, dribble, and shoot the ball, and they can move the ball by running or by taking up to three steps with it. The sport combines elements of basketball, soccer, and water polo, and emphasizes speed, agility, and teamwork. Matches are played in two halves, and the team with the most goals at the end of the game wins. Handball is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF) and is popular in many countries around the world, especially in Europe.
